Brammer’s Environmental Ethics Statement

Brammer recognises that continued economic progress means the use of more and more energy.  Even with significant improvements in energy efficiency, the world’s total energy demand is expected to be approximately 40 percent higher by 2030 than it was in 2005.  Meeting higher energy requirements poses many challenges, including boosting efficiency, developing new supplies and managing environmental risks.

Brammer strives to conduct business throughout Europe in a manner that is protective of the environment, and that is compatible with the environmental and economic needs of the communities in which we operate in order to meet growing energy needs and costs while significantly mitigating global carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.

Brammer is also committed to improving the environmental performance of our customers in order to meet their energy saving challenges.  Increasing energy savings has three key outcomes; the reduced cost to the plant, the related increase in competitiveness of European manufacturing and, perhaps even more importantly for the long term well being of the planet, the reduced carbon emissions from fuel consumption.
