Hermann Maier appointed CEO of Brammer

Brammer Ltd ("Brammer”), a leading distributor of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) products and services, today announces the appointment of Hermann Maier as its new Chief Executive, starting Friday 17th March.

Johan Sleebus will relinquish his responsibilities as Interim Chief Executive and Executive Chairman and will resume his position as Chairman of the Board.

Hermann Maier has a strong track record of 23 years in the industrial distribution industry in various roles including business development, business transformation and complex integrations.

As a Member of the Executive Board at Eriks group from 2002 to 2015, Hermann had global responsibility for the entire products and services portfolio, all regional management teams across Europe, North America and the Far East and headed up the global acquisition strategy. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Eriks Germany and Central Europe between 1997 and 2001.

Most recently, since 2015, Mr Maier ran his own consulting business focused on business reengineering and strategic development planning.
