Register rising stars for Brammer Buck & Hickman Award

Do you offer an apprenticeship programme within your business? If so, now’s the time to nominate your best and brightest apprentices for an independent award to celebrate their achievements.

Our Apprentice of the Year Awards are now in their tenth anniversary year, and are aimed at rewarding dedicated and successful apprentices – as well as encouraging more young people to take this route into a rewarding career.

The awards are open to all UK-based companies which offer apprenticeship schemes, as well as training providers with courses in engineering and key trades. Andrew Jeffrey, Commercial Director at Brammer Buck & Hickman explained: “Any business which offers apprenticeships knows the hugely positive impact that they have on both the learner and the employer. Our scheme enables them to nominate their most promising apprentices for independent recognition: a great addition to the apprentice’s CV.”

Presented individually at your company at a time that suits you, winners receive a certificate and trophy recognising their achievements, as well as £100 in vouchers redeemable against Roebuck branded tools. Exclusive to Brammer Buck & Hickman, Roebuck is one of the longest-established tool brands in the world, with a range of some 16,000 tools, maintenance and health & safety products on offer.

Andrew continued: “For the last decade, we’ve seen the standard of work demonstrated by the winners rise with every award presented. More and more companies are seeing the value of not only offering apprenticeships, but retaining promising individuals when they have successfully completed their training. Reward and recognition schemes like ours are an ideal way to keep apprentices engaged and enthusiastic about careers in engineering, manufacturing and construction, and to encourage future growth in these sectors.”
